Your local roof tiler
Melton is home base, so a Melton job is local work. You call Ben's mobile, Ben comes out to look at the roof, and Ben writes the quote. Not a franchise and not a call centre.
We work on tile roofs: concrete, terracotta and slate. That covers most homes in Melton, from older houses in the established streets to roofs on the newer estates.
Repair, re-bed or re-tile?
Most calls start with a ceiling stain, mortar grit in the gutters or a ridge cap that moves in the wind. None of those automatically means a new roof.
Cracked or slipped tiles and a single leak are usually a repair. Loose caps or crumbling ridge mortar call for re-bedding and re-pointing. A full re-tile only makes sense when a large share of the tiles have failed or the same leaks keep coming back after proper repairs. Ben inspects first and tells you which one your roof needs, and says so if it doesn't need anything yet.
