A tile roof restoration deals with the whole roof rather than one fault: the roof is cleaned of lichen and grime, failed bedding and pointing are replaced along the ridges and hips, broken tiles are swapped out, and the roof is sealed.

Before any spraying, gables, windows and adjoining roofs are masked with plastic sheeting — the house gets protected, not just the roof.
Is it worth it?
When the tiles themselves are sound but the roof looks worn and the mortar is failing, a restoration is usually far cheaper than a re-roof. A free inspection tells you which one your roof needs.
