Roofing for extensions
Adding a room or an extension means a new section of roof that has to be tiled and joined to the roof you already have, so the two shed water together.
If you want the extension to match the house, the tile profile and colour matter. Send Ben a photo of your current roof and he'll talk through the options before he quotes.
Roofing for new builds
Ben also tiles roofs on new homes, in concrete, terracotta or slate. If you're planning a build, call or text him with your plans and timing and he'll talk through the roof with you.
Re-roofing an existing home
Most tile roofs can be repaired, and Ben will tell you if yours can. A full re-tile is worth it when a large share of the tiles are cracked, porous or brittle, or when repairs have become an every-winter event.
Because the quote comes after an inspection, you'll know which of those applies to your home before you commit to anything.
What's involved in a re-tile
A re-tile typically means stripping the old tiles, checking what sits underneath, laying the new tiles, then bedding and pointing every ridge and hip so the roof is weathertight. Ben quotes the whole job in writing first, with a fixed price, so there are no surprises halfway through.

Questions
Do you do roofing for extensions?
Yes. Ben tiles the roof over new extensions and joins it to your existing roof. Send a photo of your current roof so he can talk through tile options with you.
Do you tile roofs on new builds?
Yes — tile roofs for new homes in concrete, terracotta or slate. Call or text Ben on 0422 093 241 with your plans and timing.
Do I need a whole new roof or just repairs?
Often just repairs. A free inspection shows whether the tiles themselves have failed or whether the problem is the mortar, a few broken tiles or the ridges — and Ben will say so if a re-tile isn't needed yet.
